Lessons Learned from Professional Facility Dog Trainers

January 27, 7 p.m. ET/4p.m. PT

If you’re planning to bring a therapy or facility animal into your work, it’s essential to prepare for the day-to-day tasks that come with the job. From structured drills in a classroom to unexpected encounters, like meeting a client’s service dog, proactive planning helps set everyone up for success.

In this session, you’ll hear from Christine Miner and Catherine Ricchetti, experienced trainers, and professionals who have working facility dogs. Christine and Catherine specialize in preparing dogs to work in places like schools, law enforcement facilities, care homes, and mental health practices. They’ll share practical, real-world insights and lessons learned from years of helping dogs and handlers thrive together, followed by a Q&A session.
